This week’s lesson focuses on the commandment of the Lord to build the Kirtland Temple.  The Saints were very poor and sacrificed greatly to construct this first temple.  The lesson also goes into detail about Joseph Smith’s dedication of the Kirtland Temple and the glorious manifestations and miracles that happened afterward, including the appearance of Jesus Christ.
